Loved it! Great place for families or couples. All the amenities, clean, comfortable beds. The treehouse features are great for kids and adult kids too. Loved the outdoor fireplace for cool mornings and coffee outside or for evening s'mores. Convenient for everything in the area, yet away from the chaos. Would definitely stay here again and again.

“Favorite trip ever!!!”, proclaimed our 9yo son and 6yo daughter. Mom and dad had a great time too! Can’t say enough great things about this place…there is not one detail Sanctuary missed - it’s an absolute delight to discover all the little well-placed and well thought out intricacies that made out tree house stay such a delight. We left with full hearts and a lifetime of treasured memories. The scavenger hunt was so well done! We all enjoyed it and appreciated the humor woven into everything. Thank you SANCTUARY!!!! The family are creating something quite special here! Amazing treehouses with fantastic views of the Smokey Mountains. We had an issue with the air con for the stay but was resolved promptly and without fuss which shows how much this concept is cared for. Scavenger hunt is great with lots of funny humorous signs along the way, love the little figures and a huge amount of effort has been made with all the signage and sense of humor. Loved the downstairs bath with TV and large bed to chill of an evening. It’s a must go to place, thank you Gary and Lisa from London.

The Sanctuary Treehouse Resort was an awesome place to stay! We stayed in the Pardon My Mountains - 65 and can’t say enough great things about this resort. We will definitely be back and will let everyone we know what a great place this is, it is definitely worth the the money and there is endless things to do! I am almost 67 years old and the slide was so much fun made me feel like I was young again, but my favorite was the bed swing. Oh and I am definitely getting me a toilet like the one in our bathroom you can’t go wrong with that! Thank you so much for such a wonderful vacation.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!!! My family LOVED this place. We will 1000% make this a routine stay. The cabins blend luxury (true luxury. Heated toilet seats??) with fun in a way that allows adults to relax and kids to play. I also LOVED the scavenger hunt. The lookout at Sparky is truly unmatched. Love love love. Can't wait to come back.

What an awesome place for our mini-vacation. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the bunk beds, slides, swings and scavenger hunt. Close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to enjoy the attractions of those towns as well. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend to anyone planning a vacation to the area. We’ll be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Treetop Resort! They literally thought of every detail inside and outside the room! The Chasing Fireflies cabin was adorable. We cannot wait to stay again!! If o had to give one little suggestion it would be to put the community ice machine up higher where kids cannot reach their dirty little hands in or trade it out with an enclosed hotel style machine 😉 But seriously, everything was absolutely perfect and so well thought out!! We cannot wait to visit again soon!!!!

Treehouse experience was magical!! The mile long scavenger hunt was an amazing way to enjoy the outdoors and a long walk in the woods with kids, complete with fun and novel stops along the way and of course, treasure at the end!! We made memories worth repeating for sure!

We had a fabulous time with our large family! The kids loved the slides and drink shoot! We got to enjoy the scavenger hunt, and grill in the outdoor kitchen. We had a blast doing all the things in the surrounding area; children’s museum, putt putt, sky coaster, indoor water park, and Great Smoky Mountains. The owners were quick to reply if we had any questions.

What a delight! My partner and I stayed for three nights for our Smoky mountain vacation. We hiked a lot in the park each day, and having a beautiful place to come and relax in the afternoons was perfect. We stayed in the honey hole and enjoyed the outdoor soaking tub and hanging bed every afternoon and evening. The bed was comfortable, the outdoor space was luxurious and inventive. The toilet was lovely! It felt like a great pampering. We can't without our kiddo and were completely relaxed though we love to return with him (and the dog!) someday.

What an amazing experience!! Our family of 4 (dad, mom, and twin 9yo girls) and our 2 pups had so much fun at the Sanctuary Treehouse Resort! We stayed in the treehouse “Don’t Stop Be-Leafin”. The theme was so cool with Bigfoot. Loved all the decor and all the comforts of home. They provide everything you need with toiletries, blankets, an outdoor grill, unlimited firewood. They even have a heated toilet seat! Everything was top notch and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our favorite things to do were going down our slide, swinging, sitting by the fire on the back porch, and going on the scavenger hunt. We will definitely be back!!!

Treehouse was so much fun for our family. Our girls couldn’t get enough of the slide and lower deck! There is a lot in the area to do, so we were glad we spent four nights there. The first night we got in late afternoon after a long drive, so it was great to have basic bbq packed with us to use small grill at the treehouse and not have to go back out for dinner. First full day, we went hiking in am and then to Anakeesta later that afternoon. The drive into Gatlinburg was much longer than we expected (45 minutes+) but may have been a busier week than usual during spring break. Anakeesta was lots of fun and wish we had gone earlier in day so we could have spent more time there. Second full day, we went to Dollywood (35 minute drive but tram and getting in park total time was closer to 1 1/2 hour so get there as close to opening as possible) and we had a great time at the park. Third full day, we went rafting through River Rat out of Hartford (about 50 minute drive), it was a good first rafting trip for our family. Treehouse had everything you’d need except I’d recommend bringing some paper products, sponge to wash dishes and food items (especially breakfast, snacks and grill items) so you don’t have to go out for all of your meals. One night our tv and electric fire wasn’t working, we tried to troubleshoot and reboot using electric panel but it didn’t kick back on until the morning. We didn’t reach out to anyone from treehouse because we thought it was too late when we returned from dinner but we were slightly disappointed not to watch movie on our last night. Overall, it was a great, unique experience for our family and we hope to be back one day! Recommend anyone who is considering going somewhere new and different to explore—and if you are on the fence about adding an extra night, you will probably want one, as there is so much to do in area and a ton of fun to be had just around treehouse itself!

We arrived at 639 and immediately used the bucket-pulley . Our 6 yo favorite was that bucket, the ladder, the big bed and the hidden bed , the treasure chest …. Wait, EVERYTHING! The most fun and lots of fishing plus a quick stop for bath at the dam store. Loved it! We will be back!

We loved our stay at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort! We booked one of the double treehouses (Tarzan & Jane) and stayed in one while my parents stayed in the one that was connected with the bridge. It was perfect because we could easily get to each other. Brian and Amanda are amazing owners who were so hospitable and responsive throughout our trip. Whenever we needed anything they were quick to respond and there was even a hiccup with one of the AC units but they came right out and fixed it and even provided my family with passes for the Gatlinburg Skypark for our troubles which was so appreciated. The rooms are awesome and detailed to whatever theme the treehouse is, and they are quite spacious for a treehouse. We traveled with our 10 month old and they even set up a pack and play for us prior to our arrival! They also helped me to get in contact with a local baker to order a cake and some treats to surprise my husband for our anniversary, they had it set up in the room for us when we arrived! Everything was so peaceful and relaxing, we truly enjoyed our stay and all of the accommodations. The area is beautiful and relatively close to a ton of shops and restaurants as well. We would definitely stay again!

Wow! They really thought of everything! We had an incredible time staying at these luxury tree houses in the smokies! Beautiful views, clean space, and so much fun for the kids! The slides were the best entertainment for our kids and the hatch door was such a neat thought! All the details are so well done! One of our favorite features was the heated toilet seats! My wife and I with our 12yo daughter visited the Sanctuary Treehouse Resort in early March, and we're already planning to return for our daughter's birthday in the Fall. This place was amazing! We stayed at the Tree-t-ment House which has a very spa-like feel to it, and we were just blown away by the attention to detail, the cleanliness, and the decor. The whole experience of the treehouse is a lot of fun, but the property also has some really cool features. We used the outdoor kitchen a couple times, and we navigated the outdoor scavenger hunt which spans the property - and that was a lot of fun, too! This place is already a great spot, but they have some big plans in store for additional phases - it will be fun to watch this place grow. One more note - we had several opportunities to speak with the owners during our stay, and they're just good people. Their sole focus is Guest Experience, and it really shows. We will definitely be back soon and often!

Sanctuary Treehouse was an amazing place to relax for a few days with my dog and kids (9, 7, 7). The slide, secret door, and swings kept my kids busy while I was able to relax on the balcony by the fire. The scavenger hunt was surprisingly physically hard (for us parents) due to the terrain- bring tennis shoes. Overall, a very nice experience.

Fantastic family stay! So many fun details for kiddos and adults, though there are many attractions nearby the Treehouse Sanctuary was our destination. We ended our TN roadtrip at this little gem. The treehouse was absolutely amazing! They thought of every detail. The kids loved the slide, the scavenger hunt, using the pulley system to bring items up and down between the floors, and the comfy bunk beds. Sanctuary Treehouse Resort was absolutely amazing. My 10 year old daughter and I stayed there while at her cheer competition for the weekend. She had planned to do many things around the area when she wasn't cheering but upon seeing our treehouse, she wanted to spend all her free time enjoying the tranquilty the treehouse brought. We relaxed swinging on the outdoor bed, going down the slide, and following the enchanted trail. This was truly an experience and we will definitely return!

We stayed in the Honey Hole cabin and it was such a nice stay. Everything was super clean when we got in, there were detailed notes for how to get in contact should we need anything, and they had the room accent lights on for us-it was like walking into a fairytale. We did find a few ladybugs in the room, but think it must be due to the time of the year. We also did the scavenger hunt one night, and it was a lot of fun, but the hills got us bc we are way outta shape. So much fun though! Kids would have a blast doing it.

We honestly can’t say enough good things about sanctuary tree houses from the treehouse itself stocked with treats and drinks , to the FUN scavenger hunt It was a beautiful day for a hike and some fun with ARMy guy!!!! To the alien and dinosaurs to the treasure at the end and yes there were great treasures at the end. To the Owner leaving a little special something !! If you haven’t been your missing a jewel !! We spent a wonderful weekend at the Treehouse Sanctuary with our granddaughters, and it was truly a memorable experience—even though it rained the entire time! Rain or shine, there was so much for the girls to enjoy. The scavenger hunt was a huge hit. Visiting all 10 exciting picture spots was great fun, and we loved taking photos together at each stop. The aliens, the dinosaur, and especially Bigfoot were favorites, and the treasures at the end made the whole adventure extra special. The treehouse itself was amazing. The girls enjoyed the bunk beds and raising and lowering the lower bed to turn it into a table, as well as going down the slide. In fact, because it was wet, the slide went really, really fast—which only made it more fun and memorable! The covered area below the treehouse was also a big plus since it was out of the rain, with swings and easy access to the ladder up to the slide. They also loved the swing outside the treehouse and the bucket on a pulley, using it to lower and raise things up and down like true adventurers. We also enjoyed visiting a nearby trampoline park, which rounded out a fantastic weekend. Despite the rainy weather, the Treehouse Sanctuary provided nonstop fun, creativity, and adventure. Overall, the girls would absolutely give this place a five-star review, and we wholeheartedly agree. We’re already talking about coming back—hopefully next time with sunshine, but even the rain couldn’t dampen the magic of this place!

Was one of the best Sanctuary resorts I have ever had the privilege of going to with my family. The Treehouses were a lot bigger, more accommodating, and relaxing than I expected. The staff was very attentive and respectful despite my family being embarrassingly high-maintenance at times. I cannot stress this enough: if you are traveling as a group of two or more people, this is an ideal resort to stay at. Genuinely was one of the coolest resorts I have stayed at with their themed treehouses and forest vibe, and I can confidently say that, having traveled most of the entire globe, staying at all kinds of famous hotels. My only complaint is that I had to leave, and I have already been thinking about when I can clear up my schedule again to go back! I mean look at this morning view.

We travel alot and this place will stand out as one of the most magical and memorable. Our kids were thrilled at the slide, secret stairs, swings, beverage shoot, bunk beds, secret bar table, privacy screen. But as the adults, we were impressed by the incredible decor, free firewood, cleanliness and its pet friendly. There were flashlights for kids, a scavenger hunt map, and even spare batteries. They’ve thought of everything. I’d highly recommend a stay here for memories to last a lifetime.

We were looking for a unique stay for our 10 yr old daughter and our 13 yr old son for Christmas and let me tell you, this delivered!! We arrived on Christmas Day afternoon and there was a beautiful Christmas tree in our treehouse all lit up. That was so pretty to arrive to along with the beautiful decorations on the property. We did the scavenger hunt before dark and that was the perfect way to start our vacation! Each morning I enjoyed my coffee on the porch and each evening we enjoyed coming “home” to the treehouse. It truly did feel like a home away from home! There was plenty of room for our kids and my husband and me! We loved making s’mores in the fireplace on our porch, watching tv downstairs while on the swings, discovering the fun things like the trap door, slide, drink chute, bucket pulley, and the heated toilet seat (never knew how much we needed one of those until now! 😆). We did so many fun things while we were there like Dollywood, mini golf, zip lining, shopping, escape room, mountain coaster, exploring and the one thing the kids asked to do every day? Go back to the treehouse! 🤗 they loved just hanging out there and we loved learning new card games all together each night in the super comfortable beds. We appreciated all of the extra details, amenities, and thought the owners put into the treehouse, and also how quickly and kind responses were if we needed anything (they even came and delivered things we needed on Christmas Day night!). We made so many memories and enjoyed every single second and can’t wait to come back!!

The Sanctuary Treehouse Resort was a great treat for the family. Not your everyday place to stay. They promote the heated seats (which were VERY nice when it was cold outside!) But the attention to detail was throughout the cabin and very fun. My kids are not little and they enjoyed the slide, trap door and bunks as much as kids half their age. We really enjoyed our stay at the treehouse. My husband and I were able to relax in front of the fire while kids played inside, outside, and around the treehouse. Shortly before checking out, our boy got hurt from rough play. They brought us medical supply and stuff animals for the kids. The thoughtfulness shine in details of the treehouse inside out, the service, and their response to accidents. I highly recommend this place for family vacations.

My husband and I spent five days and four nights at the Tree-T-Ment Center Treehouse, December 14-18. We were Celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary. To say our time there was magical doesn’t begin to describe our stay. From the moment we pulled into the resort we knew it was a special place. It perfectly combined the outdoors he loves with the luxury I appreciate. A soaking tub, the fireplaces (indoor and out), not to mention the sliding board! Imagine our surprise when we arrived to a Christmas tree in our treehouse and a special gift for us and our puppy. We cannot wait to return and hope to bring our grown kids and their families. Thank you for making our Anniversary trip everything we hoped for and more.

My family and I stayed at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort and had a really unforgettable experience. The property is quiet, well-kept, and surrounded by nature, which made it easy to relax and unplug. The treehouses were so comfortable, clean and honestly pretty cool — well designed with a lot of small details. We stayed at Land of the Free and Home of the brave, which gave an in depth themed about our countries’ constitutional values and patriotism. The views were great, especially in the morning and at night. Everything you need is provided, and it felt private without being isolated. Staff/hosts were helpful and easy to deal with, which always makes a difference. Overall, it’s a unique place to stay and a nice change from a standard cabin or hotel. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for an unforgettable experience. Definitely going to be coming back soon.

Our stay at this treehouse resort was great! Beautiful views of the golf course, the mountains, and the tree that was home to the two bald eagles. We stayed during the Thanksgiving holiday, and the holiday décor added an extra layer of warmth and charm, making the whole experience feel festive and inviting. I originally booked earlier this year but I ended up needing a larynjnjectomy. It was a trip to celebrate our 52nd Anniversary. Since then we planned on going in the fall. However I had another setback. I needed a 2nd surgery and had to postpone again. The owners and staff have been very supportive and they are allowing us to continue with our reservation once I get through with this. Great people and we appreciate their kindness. My family (myself, my husband and 3 daughters aged 12,12, and 10, and our dog) stayed in 19th hole this past weekend and let me just say, this resort blew us away! The attention to detail in both decor and amenities is unmatched. You can tell that the owners have thought through everything their guests could possibly need or desire throughout their stay. The welcome book has a ton of information about the area that was well organized and fun to read. The kitchenette is well stocked so you could cook in the treehouse if you wanted or you can use the outdoor kitchen area which is equally clean and well stocked. Every inch of the interior has been efficiently utilized, to have 5 people and a dog in one room and still feel like we had plenty of space was amazing! We loved the sitting area underneath the treehouse where my husband watched football while my kids took turns climbing up the ladder and sliding back down, playing with the bucket pulley, and the drink chute. There is also a personal fire place on the upper porch which is the perfect place for sipping coffee or reading a book with a view of the mountains! My family’s most raved about detail in the treehouse, however, was the heated toilet seat! 😂 An amenity we never even knew we needed! We also loved the scavenger hunt/walking path! It was fun and the signs made us giggle but I also enjoyed the views of the mountains, golf course and beautiful wooded area as well! They even thought to supply flashlights and compasses with the maps which our kids thought was so cool, they loved doing the scavenger hunt in the dark! It was so easy to stay with our dog as well! They had extra crates if we hadn’t brought one and poop bags and disposal in the little dog park area. I think the biggest advantage of this resort is the location! It’s tucked away so that it’s out of the chaos of town but close enough that you can go spend the day at Dollywood and not have to spend 40 minutes in the car driving up the side of a mountain to get home at night. It’s the perfect mix of camping vibes and luxury. My kids are already begging to go back!

I recently won a two-night stay at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort and we just returned from our trip (Nov, 2025). What an awesome place! No attention to detail is lost here- the decor is incredible. We stayed in Air Fort One but we walked through the resort area and I don't think you could go wrong with any of the treehouses (they're all different themes). We loved all of the unique touches like the outdoor slide, swing, eating areas, outdoor TV, outdoor fireplace, upper and lower decks, a drink chute (so fun!) and beautiful views of the mountains (you can also choose a cabin that faces the more wooded side if you'd rather). There were fun additions inside, too, including a colorful light machine for the ceiling, spyglass for viewing sights at a distance, scavenger hunt/map, a bunk bed that folds up to create a table space, pull-out bed underneath, and more. Our treehouse was clean, comfortable and had just about everything you could need (utensils, plates/cups, towels, soap, etc). The toilet seat was heated and even lit up (it was actually one of my favorite things here!). Tips: bring food to cook (there's a microwave and outdoor grill, fridge and community grilling area too) or visit the nearby supermarket- you're going to want to eat/grill here because it's so peaceful and cozy. You're close to all local attractions and shopping. It was natural and quiet without being isolated. This place is wonderful for families, groups and couples alike, or those who like "glamping," since it does still have sort of a camping feel to it. The resort has plans to expand and add more treehouses, and I can truly see it becoming even more awesome than it already is. Such a fun and unique experience.

We have been fortunate enough to travel to 75 countries around the world and the Sanctuary treehouse resort is one of the most unusual lodging settings that we’ve seen. We congratulate the entrepreneurs on their boldness and executing on such an ambitious design. Our room was terrific. It had an outdoor fireplace that was protected from the rain and was really nicely appointed in a really clever and interesting style. We happened to be there during a period of cold rain so didn’t really maximize all the features, however, with better weather and more people in the other tree houses, the group fire pit and some of the other features would’ve been fun to engage on. Some of the tree houses support five people on two beds and a small cot. It would be ideal for a family with three small kids. Plus, there were really clever features like a slide that went from the top level to the bottom level. And there was ample parking. We had a problem with our heater when we checked in and they jumped all over it and provided us a back up heater, which worked well. I would definitely recommend this to families and to people who want to play the golf course, which is literally about 300 yards from the resort. or to people who want to go to Dollywood, but wanna stay away from all the craziness of pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Love, love, love this resort! Hands down the most peaceful and relaxing place I could’ve stayed. These treehouses are awesome! I had an extremely peaceful 3 nights and 4 adventurous days which isn’t hard with all the creative interactive parts of the treehouse! From a 20ft slide! (Fun for all ages!) to a drink shoot from the inside to the downstairs patio, over to the wheel turning roll out queen size bed, then you can take it down the escape hatch to the bottom patio where you’ll find swings, tv and an outdoor table! Don’t even get me started on the beautiful walking trails! Get the adventure started with a super clever scavenger hunt with bad to the bone statues and absolutely hilarious signs to find throughout. There are even treasures for all ages you’ll find at the end! The treehouse features an outdoor fireplace that just sparks the magic on those chilly nights and turns them into warm peaceful memories. This resort is a community, not just somewhere to stay but somewhere to get away from it all and just enjoy yourself. There’s even a community outdoor kitchen and fireplace with corn hole! Where everyone can meet and just hangout. I stayed mostly by myself and sitting around just listening to all the excitement in the families as they arrived was magical! Kids spending an hour outside before even entering the treehouse! And something for everyone to enjoy in their own special way! Absolutely incredible! The team there is just awesome and the resort is extremely unique. So, what are you waiting for? The adventure is out there! Be one with the trees and book one (of these) incredible treehouses today! I promise you won’t regret it!

I searched high and low for a family friendly and convenient spot to stay near the Smokies. Many places looked interesting, but they were far from activities, or dated, or really really expensive. When I found Sanctuary Treehouse, I thought it might be too good to be true. The location is fantastic, the treehouse theme looked fun, and the price was right. I booked it and immediately wondered if it was all an Insta-place; would it look good on screen but be rough in person? When we pulled up, I was ready to be disappointed. Imagine my delight when the treehouse wasn’t just as good as pictured but actually better! Every detail was delightful - practical for the adults and whimsical for everyone. The kids had an absolute blast in the room and around the resort, and everyone relaxed. All four of us want to return again. Thank you for such a beautiful and fun experience!

Best place to stay if you have kids! There is so much within each treehouse to entertain! The slide, can drop, bucket for hoisting up goods...outside TV...outside fireplace & deck. The only suggestion we have is to reserve one of the tree houses that does not have a lot of overhanging trees. They release sticky sap that makes the whole deck, railings and slide sticky...

Everything about this place is outstanding. Our main attraction of this wonderful treehouse was the breathtaking views of the Smoky mountains. The community fireplace was very helpful in cookouts and in community events like state golf tournaments. we’ve been coming to this place for probably two or three years now and it keeps getting better each year. We love the style and it makes us feel like we are in a cabin deep in the woods. And with the amazing view of the golf course, we can see players stripe the ball and sink putts. The hiking trail was also amazing. There is a beautiful view from the top of the hill that looks over all of the Smokies and Sevierville. we will definitely be coming back here soon thank you so much for this amazing place!

We really enjoyed staying at the Sanctuary Treehouse Resort. The treehouse is very well designed and the location is scenic. There are bunk beds for the kids or a large pullout bed underneath the main bed. My daughter loved the slide and swings. Just be sure to check for sap and wipe the slide down before using as we realized that after my daughters clothes got sticky the first time she used it...lol. There were also little reading lights on either side of the bed which was neat! We had an issue one day with our TV and by the time we got back from our day out it had been fixed. Great and friendly service! We will definitely stay here again sometime!

The Sanctuary exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we noticed the attention to detail. Everything about the treehouses is intentional. From design to decor, you feel as if the treehouse was prepared for you, not just the next "visitor". The drink chute, slide, swing, and ladder are great fun. But they are not gimmicks. They help capture the essence of being a kid and having a special hideout away from the rest of the world. To be able to stay up among the trees feels just the same as being in the trees. Only better. You can have a fire on the deck while you grill. Or read. Or nap. You get that kid feeling of no one knowing you're there. That magical away-ness, paired with the convenient location in Sevierville, combine to make Sanctuary truly unique. It isn't something we experienced elsewhere in town. It is an enchanting little corner of the world. Before we left, we booked our next stay. And doubled the length of it.

Our stay at the Tree T Ment Center could not have been better! This was our first time staying in a treehouse, and we both highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway with their significant other. The staff were absolutely wonderful to work with! We were celebrating our anniversary, and thanks to Amanda and Sarah, I was able to pull off some surprises for my husband. The scenery is beautiful, and it feels like the owners have thought of everything when planning out the treehouses; we didn't need for anything. Sarah was particularly helpful. She called us shortly after we checked out to let us know I had forgotten some clothing in our treehouse. I mentioned that we wouldn’t be back for a couple of hours, and she offered to either meet us at the resort when we returned or keep the clothes somewhere safe. When we arrived, she was already at the resort, and the clothes were nicely bagged up. You just don't get that kind of service these days! We are looking forward to returning for another stay and are excited about the many upcoming projects they have planned for the resort. Hope to see you all again very soon! The treehouse experience offers so much to do, you can spend most of your day here. No need to Jam Pack your day with tourist trap activities. Our tree house was super clean and welcoming! We loved every detail. You are far enough of the main road to have peace and quiet, yet close enough to drive to attractions. We would highly recommend this resort to friends and family! We just had a fantastic stay at Sanctuary Treehouse LOF/HOB. We found the rooms to be extremely clean, family friendly, and comfortable. They thought of lot of little extras to make your stay simple, fun, and safe for kids such as cozy fleece baskets near the patio door, a retractable child safety gait on the upper deck by the slides, USB’s in every outlet, a fan and lights on the lower patio, the Murphy bed style lower bunk, relaxing swings on the lower deck where we liked to enjoy meals, guest logs in each treehouse, hidden treasures we found on our walk (that I believe will soon be part of their scavenger hunt), plenty of pillows & towels…. And of course the slides and drink shoot were a huge hit with our family! We were really glad that we stayed in Sevierville, we found it to be close enough to all the attractions yet away from the hustle & bustle of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. This was our second year staying at Squirrels Gone Wild Treehouse because we love it! It’s hard to imagine a treehouse is luxurious but it is. This includes comfy beds, heated toilet seats (yep), decorated creatively, robes, fireplace and so much more. We enjoyed the community kitchen fireplace and accommodations! We also had a corn hole competition which the grandkids love! We can’t forget that the coffee was really good. My husband and I are big coffee drinkers and we ran out. You must stay here. The treehouse is as magical as Disney. Our children (4 and 6) had endless fun playing on the slide, laying on the roll out bed, swinging on the rope swing, exploring the bunk beds, and making snores on the fire. I will do my best to describe our magical stay here. If you have children( ours are 4 and 6) this resort provides endless fun. From the slide, to the secret door, bunk beds, drink shoot, making s'mores in the fire place, your children will never be bored. Even with all the amazing activities in the area our kids couldn't wait to get back to the treehouse each day. As an adult being able to explore all the subtle touches this tree house provides and enjoying sitting below on the swings at night enjoying the amazing views was unforgettable. We noticed a plan to expand the resort to add hot tubs, hot springs, more treehouses. We can't wait to get back here and create even more amazing memories as a family. Don’t miss this place! While searching for a romantic getaway that was out of the ordinary, I came across Sanctuary Treehouses. There was no detail left untouched. Every single element made you feel like you were luxury glamping. These treehouses had everything you need from an outdoor grill, hot shower, beautiful bath and even a heated toilet seat! My favorite part was the swinging bed down below with privacy curtains and a TV for a night of relaxation outdoors. Beautiful views too! There is even a slide big enough for my 6’8 husband lol! Kids are clearly welcome here too but ours are grown:) We will be back!

We had such a great time at the Sanctuary! We stayed in Chasing Fireflies and were so impressed with the treehouse. They have thought of everything! It was much easier for us to cook dinners than we would have expected - eating up on the deck as the sun was starting to set through the trees was actually our favorite part of the trip! The mini fridge also stayed impressively cold. My 6-year-old boys loved playing on the slide and using the bucket & pulley system on the front porch. Can't wait to return!

I can not say enough good things about sanctuary treehouse resort. My family of 4 (mom, dad, and twin boys age 11) stayed in chasing fireflies for 3 nights. The decor was absolutely precious and although one big room, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Boys had bunk beds and there was a comfy king size bed for the parents. Curtains separate the space when showering. My boys loved the slide and trap door and really enjoyed the swings underneath the house. This was definitely a one of a kind experience and we will definitely be back.

I travel for work and honestly the beds here are the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had away from home. I also loved how clean the rooms were. Loved this little resort. It was perfect for our kids (5 & 8) but nice enough for adults traveling solo for looking for something romantic and off the beaten path. When we arrived late a night, we were greeted by a s'mores kit and small gift. The decor and furniture are high-quality, beautiful and durable. The beds are very comfortable and there are modern amenities throughout. The AC worked very well. The kids loved the star projector, slide, and swings. If I am in the area again, I would stay here again.

Absolutely incredible! Our family of 5 slept comfortably in the beautiful Among The Wildflowers treehouse. We never wanted to leave! We spent hours just hanging out in the treehouse, and the kids loved the swings and slides. There was even a fireplace. It was so peaceful!

Incredible. We were so impressed. These are so well equipped that everytime I looked for something I might need it was right there. My kids had a BLAST with all the slides and secret ladders, and the s’mores were a fun surprise. We were lucky enough to be surrounded by fireflies each night too. I highly recommend a stay here.

Wow! This was amazing. The treehouse looked just like the pictures, but when I walked in it actually smelled like a spa! I think I spent more time in my treehouse, especially on the deck, then I did doing touristy stuff. I learned how to make a fire in the fireplace on my deck, thanks to the awesome fire starters they left for me. I watched the sun rise in the fabulous robe Sanctuary had for me to use. I also made smores with the ingredients that were left on my bed. Also, I was surprised there was a bidet in the bathroom. I'd never used one before and thought I'd give it a try. It was kind of weird, but I may buy my own now when I go back home! Also, the heated toilet seat was really cool (hot! lol). I needed a break to unplug from the world and I got it here. I didn't watch TV for the whole 3 days I was there. I got some fun reading done too. If I go back to this area, I will definitely stay here again!

Easily a 5 star stay! Actually 5 💫 is not enough. We so enjoyed our time at the Sanctuary Treehouse Resort. The attention to detail at the Honey Hole was amazing. From a towel warmer to an automatic toilet, a welcome pack of local discounts to s’more makings (yum!) everywhere you looked you found the thoughtfulness put into building these treehouses. We stayed here at the end of our vacation that took us from Nashville to Memphis to Knoxville. Would have been more than happy to spend more than two nights here. So relaxing, especially enjoyed the swinging bed on the first level and the completely stocked outdoor fireplace. There’s no doubt that we will be back, sad to have to leave! We stayed at the Honey Hole. It was adorable! So well planned and designed for such a small space. All the touches, from the heated toilet seat/bidet, the soaking tub, the extra space below like a living room… Great location, so close to everything, but overlooking the golf course so you felt like you were more remote. They are in phase 1 I believe of development, I would live to come back and see the progress!

This place was absolutely awesome! They thought of everything. There was comfort, ambiance, nature, and humor. It even had a drink chute and heated/lighted toilet seat. The bed was a little firmer than I like but I do realize others like firm. I love the fact that they offer connecting treehouses so that families can come together. We do most of our traveling in a motorhome because you never know how clean a place is going to be. You don’t have to worry about that at Sanctuary Treehouses.

Just outside of Pigeon Forge, this quiet little row of treehouses had everything we needed for our girls trip. The beds were comfortable and the space warm and inviting. The outdoor amenities were on point (and lots of fun!). When we had a lightbulb issue in the bathroom, they were prompt to correct the issue and replace the bulb as soon as we called. I have no doubt they would correct any problem that may arise during a stay. The location is super convenient for visiting Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the National Park. We will definitely stay again in the future.

So glad I found this place! We stayed in the Chasing Fireflies treehouse. The kids had a blast between the slide and ladder and drink chute on the afternoon we arrived so it was nice to relax after a long drive and watch them have fun. The location is perfect! You’re close to everything but not in the middle of it. So after a long day at Dollywood (20 minutes away) it was nice to come back and sit on the porch and enjoy a fire on the back porch and listen to the owls in the distance. Can’t wait to come back and see what it looks like next time as more treehouses and amenities are added!

Our family of 8 adults and 1 child booked 4 treehouses and were more than pleased. This was in preparation of a hike in the Smokey Mountains where my middle son proposed. He had the Honey Hole treehouse which was perfect with the swinging bed under the deck. There is absolutely nothing they missed when creating these units. A lot of attention was placed on the details for each unit from warm toilet seats (who knew) to swings under the deck and fireplace on the top deck where we all gathered for Happy Hour. Communication was timely and detailed. I can not recommend this more.

I chose the 55-19th Hole Treehouse for the view and all the fun interactive features it offered. There were five of us, and saying we had a great time is an understatement. Last October, my husband and I had the incredible opportunity to stay at Sanctuary Treehouse in Sevierville, Tennessee, for our five-year wedding anniversary. Without a doubt, it was one of the most thoughtfully designed and unique places we've ever stayed. We chose the Golf-themed treehouse, as my husband is an avid golfer, and it exceeded every expectation. The attention to detail was unmatched; they truly thought of everything, making it feel like a dream getaway. We went there for spring break and we stayed in two different houses ( we extended with one more night). We drove all the way from Tampa Bay to stay in this place. These interactive treehouses attracted the attention of my children, they didn't even want to go explore other attractions in the area. At the same time, each house is unique, attention has been paid to every detail, high-quality materials have been used, it is comfortable and very cozy. We were a family of 5 with children from 4 to 11 years old. The most important thing is that the hosts are very positive, hospitable and ready to help in any situation. We had the MOST amazing time! Will definitely return. The space is so fun and so well thought out. We did this to be able to say we stayed in a treehouse...and let me just say... it did not disappoint. My daughter now wants to live in one! We were lucky to have minimal traffic headed into to town and mostly perfect weather. It was lovely to leave the chaos of the city and recuperate in the treehouse. Bed was so comfy, shower was great, and heated potty seat is a game changer. I was concerned about the temperature of the treehouse and it was perfectly comfortable. Will be returning!

This was our first stay at Sanctuary Treehouses. We stayed in the Tree-T-Ment and it was Tree- Mendous!!!!!! We loved it here so much that we brought dinner in for our second night and ate in front of our private fireplace which also overlooked the beautiful Smokies! The owners have thought of everything and we loved their attention to detail: the upper and lower lighting at the bed and sink area, “stars” on the ceiling, lit indoor fireplace and sparkle lights on the tree. The toilet is fancy with a heated seat and lid that lifts when you walk into the bathroom, and the jets/ rain shower worked great! The tub water also got hot. We appreciated the complimentary yummy flavored coffee and snacks too. The slide was fast and fun and we just had to bring dinner up to our treehouse with the pail. I’ve stayed in alot of places but this by cars exceeds my expectations! Very convenient location to the downtown area, exceptional host and quality and details of each treehouse! We were so grateful they were dog friendly so we got to take out fur babies with us. We stayed in the Honey Hole and loved it! The towel warmer was a great touch to a cold winter night! We will def. come back and stay again! Had so much fun and was one of the most unique stays I’ve ever had! The decor was as beautiful and educational as the Smistonian Art Museum .Not to mention the heated toilet seats🥳 That was on a entirely different level of luxury! … The tunnel slides to take you down in record time … maybe Mrs. Amanda Jensen will post that one of me to make all of you have a wonderful laugh. I loved everything about my stay at this resort. The atmosphere, the aura, just everything! The treehouses are very detailed and made it feel like a second home. It's close enough to where you can meet other people but also provides your privacy as well. The balcony views facing the golf course and seeing the sunrise was one of the highlights of the trip for me. You can bring your family, business partner, or stay with your significant other. It accommodates anyone. The staff and the Owners are very welcoming and friendly. There are so many things to do and many places to eat nearby. We absolutely loved our time at the Treehouse! We did 2 nights of our week in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, our only regret was not staying in the treehouses longer! The kids had a blast! We wish we had planned more down time to be there and enjoy them. We have a 3.5 year old... when he got out and saw them said "I can't believe I get to sleep in a play park!" We would all take the slide down to get to the car... it was magical! Beds were nice, showers were great! Everything was wonderful! It is a MUST do! It is a little bit of a trip to Gatlinburg, but very close to Pigeon Forge. We still did things in both places from the tree house though and it was great! We can't wait to come back! My husband said he wished he had 3-4 nights there (at least). The owners were great and helpful leading up to our stay! It is a 10/10 for us!!!

They really go above and beyond with making sure that you have the things you need to facilitate quality time with friends and family. We had family from London England, Nashville, and Taledega spend a long weekend with Sanctuary Treehouses. They do all they can to make everything as convenient as possible, and really care about creating a great space to make memories. We Loved the outdoor kitchen and fire pit with a great location, where you can admire the sunset over the smokies. And there was a supermoon one night that we watched rise over the smokies. My husband & I love taking road trips and wanted to getaway to a cabin. Sanctuary Treehouse is only a few hours from us in Nashville so it was perfect! Highly recommend for couples getaway. We arrived in the evening and pulled up to a quiet stretch of cabins and the golden hour view. Easy to find & parked at our cabin Air Fort One. We were greeted with a s’mores kit which came in handy that night by the fireplace on the deck 😁 hadn’t made one since I was a kid! It’s so cool that every cabin has its own theme! In ours there were two floors to hang out, large bed, extra sleeping options if you go with the whole family, mini fridge + small kitchen area, great shower & upper balcony where we enjoyed our coffee the next morning soaking up the sun with a view of the mountains. There are many details in this cabin that make it luxury & unique. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into their design. But I won’t tell you everything so that you can be excited when you arrive too 😊 It was quiet & peaceful. But very easy to get into town should you want to venture out. We had a great time visiting Sanctuary Treehouse Resort! Highly recommend if you’re looking to relax, recharge, enjoy quality time in the beauty of Sevierville, Tennessee!

We visited this beautiful treehouse sanctuary with a group of friends traveling for a car rally mid November and we were all blown away with this place. It was perfect for large groups of friends or families traveling together where you can have your own mini cabin/ treehouse but also engage with other treehouses too. They have been designed to fit so many needs with more beds for kids with a bunk bed and trundle bed to sleep up to 6 ppl in a room. The private fire places on the deck are a huge hit to sit around and make s’mores or to keep warm in cooler months. All the treehouses have a slide 🛝 to get down to the road at faster speed then the stairs and it is fun for fun playing as well. Each treehouse has its own unique theme and they are decorated with the theme in mind. We stayed in morning wood and thoroughly enjoyed the theme, decor, and location of this treehouse as we had a beautiful view to wake up to each morning. I loved all the details each room has from having a mini fridge/ microwave/ coffee maker and kitchen sink with a long countertop as each patio has a personal grill for cooking options. The bathrooms were a huge hit as our group kept raving about the heated toilet seats! Which now has given me ideas for Christmas presents 🎁 😂 Hands down I would return to this sanctuary for the tranquility and warmth this place offers as well as the location being perfect to access Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge without being in all the hustle and bustle that comes with the traffic and tourist there. I can not wait to return and recommend this place to anyone traveling there. The hosts are also super amazing and down to earth people, really making this one heck of an experience for us. I enjoyed seeing the property and the future plans for them to expand and grow!

It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with all the amenties. I highly recommend staying here. It's close to all the fun in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and a great place to go to get away for a few days.

Our stay at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort was amazing! The room was beautiful! It was equipped with just what we needed to have a fun, magical time, including s’mores ingredients!! The team pays special attention to the details, and that makes all the difference. From the whimsical touches like slides, beverage chutes, and hidden pulley beds to make it a true treehouse, to the comfort and luxury provisions like an outdoor fireplace and heated toilet seat (yes, for real!), no detail was overlooked. We had a great time getting out and about in the area. But we also looked forward to coming back to our treehouse, much more than returning to a normal hotel room! We already miss our nightly outdoor fire with marshmallows and s’mores! We definitely recommend Sanctuary Treehouse Resort!

In early October 2024, my wife and I stayed in room #56, the Tree-T-Ment Center. The resort was truly unique in the best ways possible. It was luxurious and rustic. It was traditional yet modernized. The resort is beautifully situated in the hills of Sevierville, offering a tranquil mountain retreat while still being just moments away from the attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our treehouse was beautifully decorated and highly functional. Our AC was nice and cold, our bed was ultra comfortable, our ceiling fans provided the perfect breeze, and the outside bed and bathtub were extremely cozy. The smart toilet was a funny highlight; let's just say that the heated seat and remote control will keep you entertained while you take care of the essentials. Each treehouse has a Weber gas grill with the gas delivered via pipeline so that you never run out. If you're a griller, then you know Weber's are the highest quality grills on the market. Attention to detail and quality are reflected throughout the treehouse and the entire resort. A+ Will definitely be back!

Great & Fun Experience! The treehouse was very cute and cozy. This was the perfect spot for our wedding anniversary. Amanda was fantastic to help me surprise my wife with champagne, chocolates, etc. The design and engineering were very impressive and unique. The drink chute and other hidden items were so clever! We stayed in #48 the honey pot which had a great shower, indoor and outdoor fireplace, kitchenette, and even a bidet! You can’t go wrong with visiting. It’s great for couples or families. The location is perfect and such an amazing experience. We’ll be back for sure.

Our family took a little trip to TN to take our son ziplining for his 13th birthday, and our stay at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort was the perfect place to stay during this very important birthday trip! We stayed at Morning Wood, and it was big enough for my family of 4. Our 17 year old slept on the pullout bed, and of course our 13 year old slept on the top bunk. We were welcomed with hot chocolate and s’mores. It was perfectly decorated, and so cute! I cannot recommend these enough for people who have kiddos. I’ll also add, the owners were so nice and prompt with any questions I asked prior to booking!

Took the family for a little getaway for fall break. The minute we arrived my teenage children immediately climbed through the trap door and slid down the slide. We had such a great time! We each had our own swing/chair to watch football on the lower deck, my daughter found several little reading nooks, and drinks came down the soda chute every ten minutes 🤗 Every detail from the lighting, the privacy curtain, the heated toilet seat (yes that was a highlight) coffee bar, fireplace on the deck, tons of seating, cute decor, enough blankets for everyone… was the coolest. The whole vibe was cool! Our treehouse was Good Ol Rocky Top and was Tennessee themed which we LOVED. HIGHLY recommend!!!

The resort is close to many attractions, restaurants and stores, yet is away from the hustle and bustle encountered closer to town. A great alternative to a hotel. Kept my three children entertained in-between events we had planned. The kids won't stop talking about the treehouse they stayed in. The attention to detail and adult humor were great. The treehouse provided so many little things that we didn't need to bring such as the crib for the baby and night light that projected on the ceiling for the children. The outdoor areas had everything you could think of and was very relaxing. The location is absolutely perfect. Everything we planned to do and anything we needed was no more than 15 minutes away. We are looking forward to making this an annual trip.

Staying in Morning Wood, Treehouse 58 was GREAT!!! We had an awesome time, even as adults!! I love how the resort is set up. Our treehouse was so much fun!! I did everything!! Lol... The swings, the slide, the secret ladder and escape hatch, and I had all my drinks sent down the drink chute!! The bed was so comfortable, the shower was so relaxing, the fireplaces added that special touch, and let me tell you, I fell in love with the heated toilet seat!! Who knew I needed that in my life!!! 🔥🚽🧻❤️😄 Another thing I enjoyed was the Perk Card!! So many restaurant and activity suggestions, discounts, and even some freebies!! WOW!!! What an incredible experience from my first contact with Amanda as she helped me plan the perfect weekend getaway. My wife has always talked about building a treehouse so this was the best thing I could have done for her birthday. When we arrived, there were rose petals adorning the room along with champagne, a charcuterie platter and chocolates along with a vase of red roses. My wife was overwhelmed and I am so glad I booked this weekend with Sanctuary Treehouse Resort. It’s not just the outstanding service provided but the treehouse was amazingly appointed as we stayed in #58 and it resembled being in the top of a beautiful tree. We just left this morning and I feel like we are all so sad. We got a notice that we could book a gap day at a discount and we already have another accommodation booked but I was tempted to pay for both just to get to stay longer ❤️ I don't even know where to start. The theming was so thoughtful and really made the ambiance of the place that much better. My kids (3 and 7) were in absolute heaven - the trap door, the bunk beds, the can shoot, bucket pulley, slide, rope swing and the swing chairs below deck - all such hits and so amazing to see their joy as they experienced it all. I wish you all sold tshirts - we want to promote the heck out of this place back home in Michigan! The place was also SPOTLESS and so comfortable! My wife and I spent six nights In unit 56 The Tree T Ment Center unit at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort. I started to write a review as soon as we got home and thought I should calm down and see if I still thought as highly of the place a month later as I did when we got home. The architecture of the place enamored me all week long and we enjoyed the comforts and amenities every day. The big soaking bathtub, the easy to use outdoor fireplace, the amazing views from the outdoor seating bar, and of course the bed all made for a great week. The bed was comfortable and unique, and gave us all the rest and the romance we were looking for. It was a way to avoid the crowds of Gatlinburg, and yet still be in the vicinity of the National Park, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. Sanctuary Treehouse provides great discounts to dozens of attractions in the area and the manager was in regular contact with us before our trip, helping us to make the most of our time while there. She even did some research for us and we are very grateful to her. We celebrated a birthday and our anniversary, and we wanted to create some memories. Being in a unique Treehouse setting sets these memories apart from the run of the mill hotels that we so often find ourselves in while traveling. After a month of reflection, I have concluded that my first impressions were correct and this is a great place to stay. I would trade the money for the memories any day!

My husband, our puppers and I stayed 3 nights in Squirrels Gone Wild and loved every minute of our time there! The theme was hilarious, we loved it!! This was by far the most relaxing trip to the Smokies we have ever had! The treehouse was so inviting and we took full advantage of it. We spent so much time on the bottom deck in the swings just chilling. It was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was so comfy and the linens were superb! We loved the pebble floor shower and the whiskey barrel vanity! I have no doubt we will return!

Thoroughly impressed. We stayed in Among the Wildflowers and were amazed at at how inviting and beautifully it was decorated. The stars shining on ceiling was a nice touch as we arrived around dusk. Even though it was hot during our visit we spent most of our time on the below deck swinging and watching TV while the boys played on the slide. Wonderful place, definitely will return!

We loved our stay here! The treehouses are cleverly designed with all sorts of fun features. I loved that there was a wood-burning fireplace on the upper deck--something I have not often found in this area. The trap door, drink shoot, and slide were all the kinds of things kids would long remember, and we loved the star projector at night. The rainfall shower was great--I loved the pebbled floor, and the water pressure and temperature were good. We appreciated the microwave and mini-fridge, as well as the complementary water bottles in the fridge. We would definitely come back!

Sanctuary Treehouse Resort was such a nice change of pace from the traditional hotel style of travel lodging. The kids absolutely loved it; in fact, this is the first trip I can ever remember my kids asking to go back to the room early rather than staying out doing things in town. It is very secluded & quiet which makes for a very peaceful stay. Although the space is small (it IS a treehouse), I was very pleased with the excellent use of space by the design team. Even for a group of 4, it didn't feel cramped at all and we easily could've fit another on the pull out bed without even sacrificing space. There are too many features to list, but a few of the noteworthy ones are the wood burning fireplace and gas grill on the very spacious outdoor deck (several outdoor seats as well), the lower deck beneath the treehouse was quote nice with its many swings for sitting, flat screen TV, dimmable string lights, and a drink chute from the kitchenette above. I can't wait to see the future developments at this resort as it is still in its earlier stages and I understand there is much more to come as they build out their wooden hill top property. Great job Sanctuary Treehouse Resort, this one is a hit!

We stayed in the tree-T-ment center treehouse for 2 nights and we had an amazing experience! The room has a ton of space and all of the features are very high end (including a towel warmer!). The decor was perfect, it completely set the tone for a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The view of our tree house was incredible, overlooking the city and golf course. The downstairs of the treehouse was so cute, it had a huge bed swing, an outdoor tub and curtains for privacy. Would highly recommend a stay in one of these incredible treehouses!

A great find in the Smokies! April 2024, my husband and I reserved the 19th Hole Tree House at Sanctuary in Sevierville TN and we were not disappointed. As a matter of fact we liked it so much that we extended our stay from 3 nights to 5 nights. We have been coming to the Smokies for over 30 years and have stayed in Chalets, cabins, hotels, etc., and I can truthfully say this is the most comfortable we have ever been with our accommodations. One reason is that the tree houses are still pretty new and they keep them very clean. I never saw one bug inside... and that means a lot to me! The only thing that could be a negative (but wasn't for us because we ate out the entire time), but just to let others know, the kitchenette has a microwave and a larger than most mini fridge (which was large enough for everything we needed, plus left over plates from restaurants), but no cooktop or oven if you plan to cook on vacation. Our time flew and we did so much that even if I had planned on cooking, I would not have had time. The Treehouses consist of one very nice large room with everything from the bathroom, main bed, bunks and kitchenette situated all along the walls. I am still amazed at the concept and how well it works! We never felt cramped and everything you need is incorporated very nicely into the space. The center of the floor is wide open to the large back deck with a fireplace and tables and chairs. The Treehouse is just a great space! Other than the cleanliness which is most important to me, each of the tree houses are just so adorable! Each one is very unique and decorated beautifully. My favorite experience was sitting on the deck at night with my husband, enjoying the view of the city lights and mountains, while sitting in front of the beautiful fireplace (firewood and starter provided) roasting marshmallows for S'mores. Amanda (one of the owners) was kind enough to show us several tree houses while we were there, as we plan to return again in the future, but next time we're bringing our children and grandchildren! We think the "Tarzan and Jane" tree house will work great for that visit, and we know our grandchildren will absolutely love it. The attention to detail and comfort in each of the tree houses is second to none. The amenities provided are many and were very much appreciated. You can tell the owners love what they do and love people. They truly go above and beyond. They always seem to be doing something special for their guests that I can promise you other resorts do not. Don't miss any opportunity you have to grab one of these unique tree houses the next time you're planning a trip to the Smokies. You'll be glad you chose the Sanctuary!

We had a wonderful time! We used everything we could. We took our 8lb maltipoo with us and she loved it too. The views were of a golf course across the way and the mountains in the back. I felt like it was close enough to go anywhere you wanted in the area. We loved making fires on the deck. The swinging bed underneath was absolutely wonderful. It truly felt like a tree house with luxurious amenities.

From the spot-on theming, to the bidet potty with the heated seat, to taking care of Allie, our pup, with her own slide-out QUEEN bed to her favorite pastime, the slide, and then the view from all vantage points. The icing on the cake was the owners, the Jensens. What a kind and personable family. They even provided a playmate for Allie. Jolene. 🐶 ❤️ What a “Tree-T”!! We will be back!! And probably will bring the entire family. Unless we need some more alone time. After all, it is our year to celebrate 50 years of marriage. 🥂

My family and I visited The Sanctuary for Spring Break. We stayed in the Chasing Fireflies house. Our stay was absolutely incredible. This experience was so unique and perfect that we did not want to leave. The room was supremely cleaned and so cozy. Our children loved the slide and porch swings. We had plenty of room and so many amenities. Not to mention how beautiful everything was. The attention to detail was superb. Also, the staff was so kind and helpful. When we were leaving I wanted a cup like the ones provided to use in the room. My husband called the office and they let us buy one. The lady working that day brought a new one to our room and a sweet gift for our boys. The owners were doing a meet and greet but it rained us out and we unfortunately had to miss it the next night because we were checked out. But, we are already looking at booking our stay for Summer. If you stay at Chasing Fireflies, just be careful when backing out (especially in large vehicles) as it is a super tight fit.

We feel so blessed to have found Sanctuary Treehouse Resort for our first vacation to the Smoky Mountains! We appreciated it being off the beaten path but close enough to all of the popular attractions that we didn't spend a lot of time getting places. We stayed at The Honey Hole the week of March 25th. We were excited to switch things up and stay in a Treehouse instead of a hotel! We were not disappointed. The Treehouses are beautiful, clean and fun. You get all of the perks of a standalone unit while still being within a community of others. The room was clean, well decorated and very comfortable. The unit has an area where you can relax on the ground floor and watch tv and a balcony on the top floor where you can take in the views and build a fire (in the fireplace). There is also a communal area for larger bonfires and cooking out! The resort is close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg as well. We drove into those two areas every day without any issues. Finally, we were celebrating our son's 10th birthday and the staff made sure he felt special by leaving him with a little gift (thank you!). We would highly recommend staying at the Sanctuary Treehouse Resort!

We chose Sanctuary Treehouse for a 50th birthday trip with 3 buddies. I can't say enough good things about this resort and its owners, Brian and Amanda. From the moment we arrived they took such great care of us and ensure our time with them would go smoothly. The treehouses have a high end feel while remaining cozy and peaceful. One of the best parts is that the treehouses are far enough away from the tourist traps in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg that you always have a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. If you are looking for peace and quiet, a great place to have a cup of coffee and sit by the fire, this is the place to be. We had the 19th Hole treehouse that overlooks the golf course and mountains and I can't imagine a better spot. This is a must stay in my opinion and we will be returning ASAP.

Brian and his family thought of everything! My fiancé and I stayed at the Honey Hole treehouse. The decor, layout, comfort, views…spectacular! When temperatures dropped to single digits, Brian delivered a ceramic heater during the evening to assure we stayed warm enough. He did this on his own just to make sure we were comfortable. Marie was also amazing to communicate with, and checked on us during our stay to make sure we were warm and safe. We definitely picked the coldest and snowiest time to visit, but could not have been happier with our stay. We celebrated my daughter's birthday in Air Fort One and it was absolutely amazing. The treehouse was one of the cleanest places I have ever seen in the Smokies. The Sanctuary Treehouse Resort is a beautiful and impressive place. Once you open the door you are quickly awed. It also comes with perks. By using Explorie, offered through the resort, we received free and discounted admission to some attractions. The personal touch, of leaving a stocking with our child’s name and gifts under the tree, was very nice. They even called days before our visit to obtain the name. I would definitely recommend it for families with small children or single couples.

Tree-Mendous was the most adorable, clean and fun place to stay for our vacation to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. It was sooo nice! The features made it fun for my kids! I suspect all of us have dreamed of living in the Swiss Family Robinson's treehouse - or at least visiting it. Maybe you have visited it at Disney? The good news is that you can experience your own treehouse now, and the owners have done all of the work. Leave you tools at home and enjoy the whimsical world created for you at Sanctuary. The design features made what seemed at first to be a small "house" into a magically functional space for us all - two grandparents, two teens, and a 5 and a 6 year old. The slide, trap door and ladder, "drink dispenser/megaphone", rope swing, hanging chairs - and so much more - kept the young ones delighted constantly.. Although the cold, wet weather for most of our stay could have been a negative, the amazing treehouse made it all worthwhile. The children are already asking when we can go back (when it's a little warmer 😀)

We stayed in the Firefly treehouse which is actually their first one ever built! So we were right across from the community area they have. When we walked in we were immediately met with stunning details! The colors, the textures, the little interactive touches like binoculars, fold up bunk beds into a table, additional hidden bed, slides, water shoots, tire swings, climbing ropes…. I mean I could literally go on! It was amazing. We slept comfortably! We traveled as five (my husband and I and our three kids). The hidden bed was used for our youngest and the older two slept in the bunk beds. They thought it was so cool to climb up on a wall into the beds! My husband and I slept like babies in the main bed. Luxurious sheets and blankets…it was hard to get up on the morning. I also loved the shower details, made you feel like you were showering outside on stones underneath a waterfall. They also provide really soft towels, wand wash clothes , and two robes. There is also a curtain to close off the shower/bathroom /luggage area for a little privacy if needed. The treehouse comes with a coffee maker and their signature K cups- a cinnamon flavor which was delicious! They also have snacks and some water bottles which was great to walk into from a few hour road trip! There are also cleaning supplies, bowls/mugs/trash bags so you won’t really need to bring much. There is also a little grill on the deck in the back if you want to cook burgers and such. Ice is provided at the community circle which you can fill up with. Too many amenities to list through, but there’s more! Great get away with your family if you’re looking for something unique. You don’t need to leave the resort but if you do, Soaky Mountain is around the corner (4 minute drive), Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and Gaitlinburg activities are also super close with just a 20-30 minute drive down the road. What a great place for Adults and Kiddos. Visited with 2 of my best friends to celebrate a birthday. The birthday girl had already been there with her family and stayed in the Tarzan and Jane treehouses. We stayed in Chasing Fireflies. This resort is so unique and well thought out. You can tell the owners have put their creative touches on every little detail. We had a blast celebrating and having quiet time to get caught up and to enjoy the sites. I highly recommend you visiting and see for yourself. Great place for Girls weekend or for Family get togethers. Amanda and Brian and their family are sweetest folks you will ever want to meet. This is my second stay at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort and I am already planning to go back again soon!!! My first stay was in the Tarzan and Jane double treehouse with my daughter, son in law and three grandsons. It was the perfect destination for our family vacation and lots of memories made. This week I came back with my two best friends for a birthday celebration! We stayed in the Chasing Fireflies Treehouse. The attention to detail and engineering extra’s ( a drink chute, a 20 foot slide, the bunk-bed turn bar top for additional eating space and heated toilet seat) were enjoyed by us (adults) as much as they were with my grandsons! The outdoor space (downstairs) was the perfect place to swing, catch up, eat meals, celebrate a birthday and relax. The outdoor area upstairs was great to walk out and drink our morning coffee and and enjoy the wooded view while we planned our day out. The thought and heart that have gone into creating each individual Treehouse is unmatched by any other resort I have visited. The Jensen family’s vision and masterplan for Sanctuary Treehouse Resort is truly unique, and a place for families, friends and couples to make memories for generations to come.

I purchased this as a family Christmas present and what a wonderful time it was. I brought my two sons and their families and we had a wonderful weekend. Sanctuary did not disappoint they thought of all a travelers needs and so many wonderful details for the littles. We grilled dinner one night and breakfast and sat around the fire pit and just got caught up on all that is going on with my family. The treehouses were the PERFECT couples getaway! We stayed in the Honey Hole and enjoyed sitting under the tree house and watching movies while it rained! 5 Stars Plus We found Sanctuary on the internet and couldn’t be happier. The Treehouse was TREE-mendous!!! Upon arrival we found it perfectly neat, clean and organized. Absolutely great attention to the detail including the snacks, fireplace wood and starters , the innovative sinks, the lighting, the comfortable deck chairs, the nightly stars on the ceiling, etc. The biggest problem we had was there was so much to do in town, which is very nearby, but you just don’t want to leave the Treehouse!!! We came all the way from New York and we will not hesitate to come again😍We want to especially thank the office manger for the very useful coupons to local eateries(which we took advantage of) as well as the tips on the best supermarkets to shop at. One more thing, be sure to watch the videos on how to operate the various amenities at the Treehouse!!!

Unique, peaceful, luxurious, kid-friendly, convenient, the list goes on - stop looking and start booking! Well, I'm not sure who was more excited, us or our kids, but this place was pretty freaking awesome, with so much attention to detail and nuanced touches of luxury that were just really impressive. When we arrived, I think we spent forever checking it all out before we remembered we had to get our stuff out of the car! The trap door was great, and brought back childhood memories, and the slide was well-used, including by myself and my wife - hey, it's faster than the stairs getting to the lower level! We had fun with the drink chute, and the lower level swings were a blast, as well as the outdoor TV to catch some sports while unwinding from the day. The rollout queen bed was a hit with the kids, along with the bunks, and the log pillows. The shower and bathroom areas were really well-done, and laid out nicely considering the living areas. The little things were nice, too, like the heated and lighted toilet, the starlight on the ceiling, the convenient charging ports, the kitchen amenities, and so much more. The list goes on with all of the details and features, but, do yourself a favor and book a stay to experience it yourself. It's like nothing else out there, and, if your kids are like ours, they'll be asking to stay there indefinitely. We did consider it since they would put them to work, but decided against it since our kids are pretty awesome, and we have work for them to do at our house already. Oh, the check-in process and general communication was smooth, as well, and the staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating. They even have some awesome relationships in the area with certain discounts, which we took advantage of, as well. One last thing - the location is fantastic, as you're tucked back off the main stretch, but, right there near everything, too, including a fairly short (by Sevier County standards especially) trip to nearby towns and attractions. If you're looking for a unique place to stay during your visit to the Smokies, that really covers all the bases, stop dilly-dallying and check this place out! You won't be disappointed.

Spacious and Memorable Accommodations Very well done treehouse inspired two story cabin. The cabin was spacious enough that our family of four never felt crowded. We loved the lower level outdoor patio with fun seating options, a table for eating / games and a tv. We would go down immediately to hang there as we woke up. The outdoor area on the second floor had even better views, an outdoor fire for s’mores, a slide downstairs and escape hatch. The interior had beautiful decor. We especially enjoyed the star projector and heater toilet seat. All of the beds were very comfortable. The staff was responsive and courteous. The kids have already asked when we can return.

We booked Tarzan & Jane and it was a fun & neat experience. The views were incredible! It was very comfortable without being too crowded for 2 families. The large indoor TV, Keurig, Fridge and Microwave were useful. The other fun details were cute & imaginative! From the heated toilet seat to fun pulley ropes and beautiful decor. The bottom outdoor space has plenty of seating, swinging chairs and rope swing too. The large TV equipped with Bluetooth music was a fun touch. We were a bit puzzled when we arrived as we didn’t know that they resort was still a work in progress. We weren’t sure how/ where to check in since we expected to park in a lot and have to take a golf cart to the treehouse. The lack of golf cart was a bit disappointing for the youngest ones in our group. We also read that the resort had a community fire pit and hang out area/ communal grill but we only saw a covered area with loose, piled up stepping stones and a bobcat blocking the area. We are hoping to return in 2026 to see the finished resort and take full advantage of all the amenities until then the Treehouse Sanctuary will remain and fantastic memory for us! 10/10 STUNNING!!! The Sanctuary Treehouses are absolutely beautiful and so well curated. Everything you need from mini fridges, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, heated toilet seats, and the list could go on and on. Lots of Family Fun We stayed in the treehouses with our family in the "Jane" treehouse. My brother's family stayed in the "Tarzan" treehouse. There is a drawbridge between the two so you can mingle in the trees without touching the ground. The racing slides were a huge hits with the kids and the adults. The views are breathtaking. The sunsets are the best. We grilled on the back porch and enjoyed the fireplace outside that night. The bed was super comfortable and it was ultra fun for everyone. We will be back. Perfect Unique Getaway! Love, love, love the Tarzan and Jane Double Fort treehouses! Our treehouses connected with a drawbridge allowing each couple privacy of their own space, and lots of beautiful deck space to enjoy coffee and beautiful views in the mornings and afternoons (including a bald eagle) and a lovely fire for cocktails and s'mores in the evening. The decor is absolutely wonderful with special touches everywhere you look. The king bed was super comfortable, the treehouse is large, and all amenities were perfect. The slide was very cool...and VERY fast. Definitely recommend for a family or couples! So fun and unique.

2025 UPDATE - My wife and I returned to Sanctuary Treehouse Resort for the third time in three years and found the facility just as charming and enjoyable as the first time we visited. The walking trails are now nearly completed. We had fun discovering various surprises along the trail (especially Area 51). The staff is attentive to our requests, and they go out of their way to make us feel welcome. These Squirrels Have Gone Wild! We just spent five nights in the brand new Sanctuary Treehouse Resort in the Smoky Mountains! I’ve been a bit obsessed with staying in a treehouse ever since I knew they existed as a “thing,” and I felt SO lucky to have scored one of the first reservations at this luxury treehouse resort. We have been looking forward to this trip since last year, and it did NOT disappoint! Our treehouse was “Squirrels Gone Wild” - every little detail was perfect! There literally were squirrels going “wild” all over the treehouse (note the pictures - so funny). The owners have a great sense of humor. 🙂 Aside from the obvious things, like a theme, the treehouse was truly *luxurious*. I mean, I never knew how much I needed a heated, light up toilet seat … but I do not want to be without one now! I also need rotating stars and clouds projected on my ceiling every night. My boyfriend has a very long “to do” list (thank you Amanda & Brian lol). Speaking of the owners, even though they were hard at work every day, expanding their new resort, they were also incredibly responsive and kind. They were always on call if anyone needed anything, and immediately got back to any emails (including those with silly questions like: “what does *this* switch do?”). The location (in Sevierville, TN) was great! I was a bit worried we’d be far from the National Park … but we were VERY close to Pigeon Forge and wow - are there a ton of things to do there! Also, we were only 20 or 25 mins. from Gatlinburg and the park, even on the busiest of days. So thrilled to have spent time here! Hope we left our little squirrels in as good of shape as we found them. …except for the poor guy over the shower - he looked like he needed some assistance (or hair of the dog). 🙂

Amazing Family Trip! We had a great time at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort! The resort is great for both adults and kids. Our son loved all of the extra touches - fun decor, escape hatch on the deck, swings, etc. The owners were extremely personable and willing to offer recommendations. The location was fantastic - the property feels secluded, but is close to local ameneties and attractions. We look forward to going back agin.

Amazing stay in “Chasing Fireflies” Treehouse Awesome doesn’t do this place justice… This was one of the most amazing places we have stayed! We stayed in the “Chasing Fireflies “ themed treehouse and every detail was executed to perfection! Super clean and neat on arrival with beautifully appointed decor, fireplaces inside and out, a keurig coffee pot with well stocked coffee bar and snacks. The outdoor fireplace had all the wood we needed along with matches and fire starter blocks, our 7 yr old grandson thought the heated toilet seat was pretty cool… the beds were comfy….the treehouse slide, trap door, hidden bed, and drink chute were a big hit! The lower deck swings were also a big hit with our grandson. There literally was nothing that wasn’t thought thru with details and amenities…. We were greeted shortly after arriving by hosts Amanda & Brian and they could not have been more friendly! This is definitely an experience we will remember and look forward to coming back! The pictures do not do justice, you need to experience a treehouse stay for yourself! Highly recommend , 10/10

Birthday Celebration My husband and I spent 3 nights in" Air Fort One "to celebrate my 69th birthday and we truly had a wonderful time. We met Brian, the owner, when we arrived and he told us to let him know if we needed anything while we were there. We were in need of nothing. The "fort" was in a great location. Ours had a view of the mountains and a beautiful sunrise. Would definitely advise you to book this treehouse. Loved, loved, loved the outdoor fireplace which was stocked with all the cut wood we needed. Had a fire each night we were there. Would have used the downstairs outdoor area also, but we had rain while there, It did not dampen our visit. Even went down the slide once. Such fun. My only suggestion would be to have more than one hand towel and maybe a toaster. But we would not hesitate to book this treehouse again. Good luck on the new builds that are happening in the future. We also met the General Contractor and he was friendly and helpful with area activity suggestions, too.

Incredible Experience at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort! This is a unique and exceptional new resort in Sevierville, TN. It is located at the foothills of the Smokies and the views and location are incredible! This uniquely designed new resort is growing rapidly and every Tree House has individual features that make the Sanctuary standout! The treehouses are comfortable, well appointed, and can accommodate up to six people. It would make a lovely family retreat or a lovers paradise for two. You can't go wrong here!

Can’t wait to return! I had the privilege of visiting these gorgeous treehouses. They are well designed with everything you need in mind. The themes are clever- some beautiful w stunning art and some whimsical and silly. The setting is gorgeous and the owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I highly recommend it to families, couples or groups of friends. It will not disappoint.

Best treehouse experience ever! Whether you're traveling with family, as a couple, or solo, this place has something for everyone. My stay in "The Honey Hole" was beyond exceptional. Pictures don't do it justice. You have to experience it for yourself to appreciate all the extra features. Beautiful location and so convenient to Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. I can't wait to visit again!

The Honey Hole with My Honey! We loved everything about this trip!! The views were spectacular and the accommodations were luxurious and quaint all at the same time. We felt like we were embedded in the mountains in a treehouse that was clean and came equipped with all the conveniences we would need -- and more. The spacious tub, picturesque deck and warm fire hit the spot while we enjoyed each other on our romantic get-away!! 10/10 recommend this destination for couples. In addition, we hope to revisit soon with our adult children -- who will never be too old for a slide!

Magical! What a wonderful resort! It is so very inviting, from the decor to the comfy pillows. In the treehouse, you literally have a bird's eye view of God's country. These folks thought of everything, such as the little snacks that were provided and a drink chute that you will just have to see to appreciate. Definitely will return!

Spring break trip My family came and stayed during spring break! This was the first vacation my kids cried leaving! Tree-Mendous treehouse was absolutely amazing! Family rested and played wonderfully! The owners/staff were all so friendly and accommodating! We will be back!

Unforgettable Rustic-Ritzy Experience! The brand new Sanctuary Treehouse Resort is such an enjoyable and distinctive resort. It’s a perfect idea to create the rustic design scheme of a treehouse resort in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. But, rustic is not what we experienced in “The Honey Hole” Luxury Treehouse. This is the deluxe couple’s retreat version of cozy, comfy and opulent. Four guest can comfortably enjoy this space, but it was just my honey and me staying this trip. There are not one, but TWO fireplaces, one indoor (electric) and one outdoor (wood-burning). Unexpectedly, the outdoor space was just as well appointed as the indoor. We loved the swinging bed on the private lower deck with curtains billowing in the mountain breezes and even an outdoor television. The upper deck had a countertop built into the deck railing and light weight barstools to take in the golf course, City and Mountain Views. Extravagant extras such as TWO gorgeous soaking tubs (inside and outside) create a very posh experience for guests. Of course, we will be back again and again for more of this “rustic-ritzy” one-of-a-kind vacations. Thank you to the family owned and operated new resort for making our most recent Smoky Mountain getaway UNFORGETTABLE! Perfect Family Destination This is the perfect vacation destination! I took my daughter, son in law and 3 grandsons and stayed in the double (Tarzan & Jane) . Our treehouses were joined by a draw bridge! This was a huge plus for our family going back & forth to each others treehouse. There is slide on each treehouse and lots of racing during our stay! The swings under the treehouse provided hours of fun and relaxation. Inside the treehouse there are some options to accommodate indoor activities. The bottom bunkbed can be raised to a tabletop bar area perfect for eating or snacking inside. If you have picky sleepers, no worries there are some bed choices. Under the king bed there is a queen bed than can be pulled ( or use the wheel to move the bed out) in front of the king bed or there are the bunkbeds.The beds and pillows are comfortable and well appointed. The attention to detail and theme related extra’s in each treehouse was impressive.The amenities are premium, and the design fun for all ages! It is a wonderful place for families to spend quality time together and make sweet memories.😍

Fun Family Getaway This was a fun getaway for our family. Kids loved the whimsical touches like the drink chute and slide. Location is close enough to town. We brought in food and planned to glamp for the weekend. Very thoughtful extras like having matches and fire starters ready to go. Good technology - strong Wi-Fi and two smart TVs. The outdoor fireplace was really nice to sit outside and enjoy. A couple small suggestions: provide a potholder/dish towel/dish rack. The kitchenette sink isn’t really functional for washing anything… while design-wise very neat, we couldn’t wash the cutting board, etc or anything larger than a small plate. We ended up picking up paper plates to make cleanup easier. Also, if you plan to cook at the unit, the grill works well but is very small (although we managed to cook an Easter ham and Au gratin potatoes on it!).

Great location. It was wonderful. The treehouses are beautifully made, and equipped with all the things you need to make your experience great. The kids loved playing around the treehouse property. Ages 13,11,8.!

Very excited to stay at this brand new resort during their inaugural year! Booking online was so easy, any questions we have asked have been answered promptly and we love seeing progress and glimpses of “our” treehouse (we chose Chasing Fireflies when we booked) as the developers post photos and videos! Looking forward to creating new traditions in our new favorite place to stay in the Smokies!
