Welcome to Squirrels Gone Wild Treehouse—a playful, peaceful, surprise-filled treehouse at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort in Sevierville, Tennessee. You’re minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and the Great Smoky Mountains, but up here the only schedule is “relax first, explore later.”
True to its name, our local squirrels love to make cameo appearances, but the real magic is inside. This guest-and-kid favorite is packed with Sanctuary’s signature interactive fun: zoom down the 20-foot slide, climb the secret ladder, peek through the escape hatch, send snacks through the drink chute, and discover bucket pulleys, swings, rope climbs, and hidden details throughout. It’s basically a luxury treehouse with a built-in “no one wants to leave” setting.
When you’re ready to slow down, settle into the treetops and reconnect. Explore our on-property trails and 1-mile scavenger hunt, then wind down by the outdoor wood-burning fireplace with complimentary unlimited firewood and a fire-starting kit—Adirondack chairs, cozy blankets, crackling flames, and s’mores-worthy vibes included. If the weather turns, stay cozy inside with the LED fireplace and cue up movie night on two 50" TVs (one indoors and one on the lower deck).

We had an amazing couple of nights in Squirrels Gone Wild with our Grand daughter of 9 . She was sad to leave and just wanted to live there forever ( her words) Every detail of the treehouse is so thoughtfully done . The treehouse is practical but so fun and interactive . The beds are really comfy . The location is perfect . We will always remember the memories we made here and are looking forward to coming back.

Truly the best experience ever in a tiny home/cabin or in this case a Treehouse where the squirrels have gone wild! My wife and I stayed 4 nights and next time we are bringing the grand daughter! Every detail of these treehouses were clearly master planned. The decor and theming is phenomenal. I don’t want to give too much away. All I can say is check it out. You will not regret it.

We arrived at "Squirrels Gone Wild" on my oldest daughters 6th birthday. The attention to detail on the theme is incredible! This is no ordinary treehouse experience! My husband, our puppers and I stayed 3 nights in Squirrels Gone Wild and loved every minute of our time there! The theme was hilarious, we loved it!! This was by far the most relaxing trip to the Smokies we have ever had! The treehouse was so inviting and we took full advantage of it. We spent so much time on the bottom deck in the swings just chilling. It was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was so comfy and the linens were superb! We loved the pebble floor shower and the whiskey barrel vanity! I have no doubt we will return!

I was astonished by the treehouse, wow, wow the details from the decor we stood in the”Squirrel gone wild” all the details throughout. We went there to celebrate our son 10th birthday. There favorite part was going the slide, we had a cookout . Thank you for making it so kid friendly we enjoyed our stay . We are thrilled to say , that we will be back and tryout the other treehouse . I highly recommend Sanctuary treehouse resort , the owner is so attentive, she even stop by to said hello. We had a wonderful stay in the squirrels gone wild treehouse. We had our 2 dogs with us. They were not sure about all of those things hanging around and looking at them the 1st night, but they got used to them. We loved being able to sit on the porch with the little fire place every evening. I would definitely stay again.
This made us giggle a bit! Poor pups! We love the fur babies and are so happy you brought yours to stay with you! Squirrels Gone Wild is a wonder in itself; many find it their favorite. We were delighted to host you and look forward to having you here again!

My home away from home in the Smoky Mointains I’d give this 10 stars if I could! Everything was so well planned in this quaint tree house. So many clever uses of space. And spotlessly clean. These Squirrels Have Gone Wild! We just spent five nights in the brand new Sanctuary Treehouse Resort in the Smoky Mountains! I’ve been a bit obsessed with staying in a treehouse ever since I knew they existed as a “thing,” and I felt SO lucky to have scored one of the first reservations at this luxury treehouse resort. We have been looking forward to this trip since last year, and it did NOT disappoint! Our treehouse was “Squirrels Gone Wild” - every little detail was perfect! There literally were squirrels going “wild” all over the treehouse (note the pictures - so funny). The owners have a great sense of humor. 🙂 Aside from the obvious things, like a theme, the treehouse was truly *luxurious*. I mean, I never knew how much I needed a heated, light up toilet seat … but I do not want to be without one now! I also need rotating stars and clouds projected on my ceiling every night. My boyfriend has a very long “to do” list (thank you Amanda & Brian lol). Speaking of the owners, even though they were hard at work every day, expanding their new resort, they were also incredibly responsive and kind. They were always on call if anyone needed anything, and immediately got back to any emails (including those with silly questions like: “what does *this* switch do?”). The location (in Sevierville, TN) was great! I was a bit worried we’d be far from the National Park … but we were VERY close to Pigeon Forge and wow - are there a ton of things to do there! Also, we were only 20 or 25 mins. from Gatlinburg and the park, even on the busiest of days. So thrilled to have spent time here! Hope we left our little squirrels in as good of shape as we found them. …except for the poor guy over the shower - he looked like he needed some assistance (or hair of the dog). 🙂
