Our journey began with constructing a charming treehouse for our four children: this playful haven featured bunk beds, a trap door, a swing, and even a zipline. Even then, we would jokingly ponder renting it out once our children had outgrown it. However, when we had the chance to experience a remarkable treehouse rental, these musings evolved into a genuine ambition.

What began as a modest plan to build a few treehouses for rent near our property soon transformed into an ambitious mission: to create the world’s largest treehouse resort nestled in the stunning Smoky Mountains. In the process, we meticulously designed rentals catering to family vacations and intimate romantic getaways.

At Sanctuary Treehouse Resort, our overarching goal is to transport adults back to the carefree days of their childhood treehouse adventures while providing a space where families can come together, play, and coexist harmoniously with the natural beauty surrounding us. Our commitment to preserving the local wildlife and the natural environment is unwavering. To uphold this commitment, our construction plan prioritizes the preservation of as many trees as possible, ensuring that we seamlessly integrate our resort within the pristine natural landscape.

From our initial vision to our steadfast dedication to the resort’s unique goals, Sanctuary Treehouse Resort offers an unrivaled. We have established a high standard for delivering a unique and unparalleled lodging experience.

Brian and Amanda Jensen, proud natives of Sevier County, serve as the visionaries and developers behind Sanctuary Treehouse Resort. The couple’s entrepreneurial spirit extends to their ownership of the Gatlinburg SkyCenter, situated atop the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park. However, at the core of their endeavors lies a deep appreciation for family, motivating them to create a haven where cherished memories can be made.

Their commitment to family shines through as their four children have played an integral role in the resort’s development. From contributing innovative ideas and artistic renderings to naming the treehouses, crafting thematic artwork and decor, participating in construction and landscaping efforts, and assisting in various aspects of setup and design, their children have been invaluable partners in realizing this unique concept. The Jensen’s eagerly embrace the opportunity to work alongside their children, imparting valuable lessons about entrepreneurship and the enchantment of turning dreams into reality.

The couple’s heartfelt wish is for each family visiting Sanctuary Treehouse Resort to derive as much joy from their vacation as the Jensen family experienced in bringing it to life. Moreover, they aspire for the resort to be a sanctuary for families and couples seeking an escape to celebrate their love for each other. Whether planning a family adventure or a romantic getaway, an unforgettable experience awaits you at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort.
