Each year thousands of synchronous fireflies light up the forest floor of the Great Smoky Mountains, emitting their brilliance for awestruck onlookers to observe. To commemorate the wondrous display of the fireflies, we've named this treehouse Chasing Fireflies, which features a beautiful watercolor painting by the Jensen's daughter who is a local artist. Ava does an astounding job capturing the scenery of a firefly light show in this central piece to the decor of Chasing Fireflies.

Super fun and different way to stay overnight
Lots of special amenities! Great for kids...escape hatch with ladder....big slide from top floor to bottom. Bed that folds up to be a table. Heated toilet seat! Outdoor easy fireplace on top outdoor porch/floor.
Adult and child swings on bottom level. TV/Roku inside top floor...and also downstairs/outdoor level.
Super clean. Two Nice robes. Full kitchen with simple snacks and keurig coffee. Sweet gift of s'mores fixings for the fireplace. We really enjoyed the 2night stay ... as an adult couple. Would be even better with kids

Above and beyond!!
They have thought of absolutely everything! I can’t say enough great things about this place. Our little family of three had an amazing time. The escape ladder was my daughters favorite and we loved watching her play for hours between that and the slide. My husband and I loved all the amenities outside as well. We will definitely go back in the future!

One of a kind experience!
My family and I had a blast here. I would recommend this place to everyone. It’s such a unique experience. I’d recommend this to anyone who is looking for something new and exciting. You can really tell a lot of thought and care went into this place.

Amazing stay in “Chasing Fireflies” Treehouse
Awesome doesn’t do this place justice…
This was one of the most amazing places we have stayed! We stayed in the “Chasing Fireflies “ themed treehouse and every detail was executed to perfection! Super clean and neat on arrival with beautifully appointed decor, fireplaces inside and out, a keurig coffee pot with well stocked coffee bar and snacks. The outdoor fireplace had all the wood we needed along with matches and fire starter blocks, our 7 yr old grandson thought the heated toilet seat was pretty cool… the beds were comfy….the treehouse slide, trap door, hidden bed, and drink chute were a big hit! The lower deck swings were also a big hit with our grandson. There literally was nothing that wasn’t thought thru with details and amenities…. We were greeted shortly after arriving by hosts Amanda & Brian and they could not have been more friendly! This is definitely an experience we will remember and look forward to coming back! The pictures do not do justice, you need to experience a treehouse stay for yourself! Highly recommend , 10/10
