Adventure begins right outside your treehouse door at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort. Included with every stay, our 1-mile self-guided scavenger hunt invites guests to explore our beautiful 40-acre property in a fun, memorable, and one-of-a-kind way.

Before arrival, guests receive scavenger hunt details and the trail map by email. When you arrive, we also leave a printed map, compasses, and flashlights in your treehouse for the brave nighttime explorers.

As you make your way along the trail, you will search for hidden creature statues tucked throughout the property, discover fun photo opportunities at places like Area 51 and Dolly’s Closet, and laugh at the funny signs along the way. The hunt is completely self-guided, so you can go any time you like and as many times as you wish during your stay.

The real mission is to find the secret creature at the end that is not marked on the map. Once you find it, you will discover a treasure box waiting so you can claim your prize.

More than just a scavenger hunt, this is a fun way to get out into nature, explore the resort, enjoy the astounding views, and reconnect with one another in the heart of the Smoky Mountains.
